Increasing the efficiency of gasoline combustion depending on the spray angle in a model combustion chamber

نویسندگان

چکیده

This article presents the results of numerical simulation that evaluates influence spray angle gasoline (С6Н6) in combustion chamber on temperature distribution and formation carbon dioxide concentration. The purpose this work is to study initial parameters process liquid fuel using based solution two-dimensional differential equations turbulent reacting flow. studies were carried out at 20-160 KIVA-II software package. Analyzing study, value effective for was determined. At an 60, rises 2467 K, which case concentration acquires a relatively small value.

Large-eddy simulation of kerosene spray combustion in a model scramjet chamber

Large-eddy simulation (LES) of kerosene spray combustion in a model supersonic combustor with cavity flame holder is carried out. Kerosene is injected through the ceiling of the cavity. The subgrid-scale (SGS) turbulence stress tensor is closed via the Smagorinsky’s eddyviscosity model, chemical source terms are modelled by a finite rate chemistry (FRC) model, and a four-step reduced kerosene c...
